| | | | | | | | 3D Portal Forge Solution (developed by Gexcel and Tecnogamma-Mermec Group) is a hardware/software integrated instrument for automatic 3D measurements in the forge industry. Based on phase shift TLS (from 1 to 4), it automatically acquires in 1-3 minutes the 3D shape of hot and cold medium and large size pieces of steel. This system guarantees more complete, accurate, safer, quick measurements than the traditional manual ones. The 3D model of the element can be easily compared with the original project and it’s also graphically represented. Sections, distances, can be easily obtained and exported for technical and quality reports. The system is developed for not expert users and doesn’t require data treatment or acknowledge of 3D software. |
