Gexcel - The company
Gexcel Srl, Spin-off Company of the University of Brescia, was founded in 2007. It started from the convergence of two experiences: the academic know-how of the University and the applied research achievements of the European Joint Research Centre (JRC), located in Ispra. Nourished by the continuous and fruitful collaboration between these organizations, Gexcel has been given the responsibility of continuing and deepening several studies in the Geomatics area: for example, Gexcel is the official developer and provider of the well known software JRC 3D Reconstructor. Gexcel’s mission consists in turning the latest scientific achievements in the Geomatics field into hi-tech products and services for wide application areas. We aim at transferring our know-how into specific solutions, designed to provide to customer enterprises significant improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency of their processes.
